Thank You!

The Young Women would like to thank all the sisters in the ward who participated in their camp fundraiser at enrichment this past Thursday. We are now able to send four girls to camp who could not have gone without your generous contributions. This will be their first Girls Camp and they are very excited to go. It was wonderful to see the ward pull together in order to give these girls a great experience. We appreciate all of your help!

GNO for May....

On Thursday, May 21st we'll be going to Just Kiln Time in Marietta for Girls Night Out. If you'd like to attend please RSVP to Kim Gray at kimbera.gray@gmail.com.

A couple of changes....

Play group at Kendall Peterson's home will be moved to Thursday, May 21st at 3:30pm.

In the Kitchen With Brandalyn Sprinkle will be moved to 10:30am on Saturday, May 16th (instead of 2pm) so you can attend the Cannery if you'd like.

ENRICHMENT this Thursday, May 9th 7:00pm

We're Going Green on Thursday, May 7th at 7:00pm and we want you to join us! Come in your green attire and snack on green foods. Childcare will be provided.

We're going to....
Sow Green: being spiritually prepared
Grow Green: information on sprouting and gardening tips
Go Green: cleaning solutions that are easy on the wallet and good for the earth
Stow Green: how to get your 72 hour kits ready and not feel overwhelmed doing it
Show Green: get your creative juices flowing as we demonstrate ways to recycle.

If you have a 72 hour kit that you'd be willing to display please contact Sister Jolene Crouch (404 386 0669). If you'd like to make the place mat tote or try the plastic bag fusing please bring your supplies with you. Place mat tote: 1 place mat and 2 handles (can be fabric, another place mat, crocheted, handles from another bag). Plastic fusing: 6-8 plastic grocery type bags; the thinner the better!

For May's Enrichment....

We're going green! We'll learn to Sow green, Stow green, Grow green, Show green, and Go green. So wear your "green" attire and remember creativity wins a prize! Hope you can join us.
